Northeast Whitetail down
« on: November 15, 2016, 02:13:32 PM »
Well unfortunately I was never able to turn up that big 6x5 buck I spotted during elk season along with a few missed opportunities during the first weekend of late season. So when this nice 4x4 gave me the opportunity I took my shot.

Here is the full hunt and some pictures. Enjoy.

Nice buck and good shooting. Gotta love the Remington 700s, they are tack drivers. Way to get it done so close to the end. The good lord blessed you with the opportunity and you closed the deal!👍😁🍖🍴🍻

Thanks, it wasn't the best shots I have made on game but it did the job and that's what matters. I've been holding out for some big bucks that I have been seeing but just wasn't able to turn them up and as the season came close to an end I took my opportunity when I had it. God is always good and without him nothing is possible.

Maybe you mentioned it in video, but what distance and cartridge used?

Bullet?

nice buck but you know its o.k. to smile for the pics---you don't always shoot the biggest bucks every year but sealing the deal with your girl there has to be pretty good none-the-less

Dmoua, you've got it figured out dude. May not be the one you were hoping for but that's a great deer. I agree with the post above. Smile man. You should be proud.
