Drove by on I90 today on way back from duck hunting, only 4, 5 guys out. That is a bad sign.

A foot of solid ice is plenty for that light of a rig.

Reminds me of the colder winters when I was a pup, and grandpa would drive us out on the ice in Lind Coulee to fish.  I haven't driven on the ice since the last time I went to Manitoba to ice fish.  Don't get to see that too much around here anymore.

That area of Moses Lake doesn't freeze evenly because of the current running.  Usually there's an open hole just south of the bridge across that part of the lake.  There's an area north of the bridge that also has that issue.

I drove through moses on saturday, the bridge down town had open water on the north side filled with water fowl. I didn't see anyone on the ice. Temp was 39 degrees. :bdid:
I've slowed down enough in my old age to finally let the game catch up to me
