WDFW spent $119,500 to shoot seven wolves

Can't wait till the Loup Loup pack kills two more of Gebbers cows.  Then we will have another wolf lovers cry in.   McIrvin is a tough rancher but he don't have near the money Gebbers have.  They don't hesitate to fight.  I put my money on Gebbers winning any fight with WDFW.  I think WDFW is very nervous about this new pack killing two of Gebbers cows and I suspect they are installing Flaggery,  flashing lights, smoke bombs, guard dogs and range riders to prevent another two cow kills.

Compared to what some spend on tags for deer, elk, sheep, goat, and so forth that seems like a bargain to me.

I have been figuring on that also, but then I look back at the hush money that Gebbers took from the DNR, over burning folks out, and I'm just not sure which way they will jump.

They could've made $10 per tag x 50000=$500k in tag sales n got them. Fact that anyone thinks it's ok to waste not only money but the resources amazes me. Those agencies are funded by us. Not liberals...no libs by licenses or tags or much ammo for that matter. Only libs who by ammo r proven people hunters I.e. Orlando n I could go on...

Money well spent.  Would have been very hard for hunters to go in and shoot seven wolves before the wolf lovers shut them down.  The helicopters made it happen fast.  Not a popular stance but I support most of the decisions made by WDFW.  There are things I like to see done differently but I understand the tough job they have to do with all the sportsman we have in this state and the backlash they get from the liberal majority.

I find it frustrating that the Master Hunters aren't being utilized for these tasks. I recall reading about the sharpshooter they brought in to thin the elk herd near the Skagit/Whatcom border a few years ago. Just seems like a waste of money to me.  If the state has the resource, why not use it?  Personally I don't have experience shooting from a helicopter but maybe other MH's do?
Perhaps a helicopter  isn't reallly necessary.   Just my opinion.

WDFW don't want to set a pretense of hunting wolves, etc.. They would rather stay with their fake environmental groups, CNW, DoW, etc., going with the least amount of wolf control as possible.

Do they realize that they could have made this a special permit or raffle and MADE a ton of money rather then it costing them $119,000? 

You can go to MT and shoot one for $50 OTC and virtually nobody ever even tries.

Not quite that easy. I spend a ton of time in the woods here and have seen 2 in 6 years. I stopped buying the tag because of this
