I have a bedrug and like it a lot.  If you are haulinga lot of landscaping stuff (rock, topsoil, bark, etc) I would go with Rhino Liner.  I went with a pretty basic Leer canopy.

Had a top of the line ARE (bought in 2001) on my 94 Silverado. Had it Gel coat painted to match at the factory. Two years later the paint started peeling.

I now have a high end Leer (2004), both are equal in initial quality. So far no issues with the leer. They have different window mechanisms and locking systems so really it comes down to preference.

I have never had a Bedrug liner. I have had hard plastic liners and I hated them. I have never had good luck with carpet inside a canopy either, so I use a rubber (no skid) bed liner. Pretty inexpensive and very durable.

Had an A.R.E. on my old truck and it did the same thing, painted to match from them at the factory and it peeled after two years...  Get the felt or carpet lined cap, helps out on condensation if you sleep back there...  I got a Rhino spray in liner, but been looking for the raised bed liners, almost like a storage and sleeping area but can't seem to find them anywhere around here?
