Buddy with a boat, always the best kind of boat for any application.

I can vouch for RH, they are built very well, have a great hull design and are a good value at that price point.

I had a Roughneck for years and loved it. After the first year, I began customizing it for the waters I hunted and fished and you should do the same.

The biggest thing I would've changed was the motor; I had a Merc 90 Jet. My thinking was I'd save tons of prop re-work and get into shallower waters with the jet but I hunted & fished a good amount in salt tides and found myself regularly leaning over the back of the boat to un-muck the impeller intake.

My next duck boat only setup will have a long tail / Gatortail type of setup. Search for some old threads on here to see my previous setup.

If your worried about your prop get a Mac's Skeg protector. 2c have one on my 14'.
