Multi season and drew toutle moderns

Still not sure about this. If you drew multi elk then drew toutle toutle modern does that mean you can only hunt modern or can you hunt bow and muzzle I know you can only take one animal but trying to figure out when he can hunt.

He can hunt all the General seasons but the permit is only valid for the season listed.

You can only hunt the Toutle unit during modern. The Multi Season allows you to hunt any general season unit during that units general season.

Only modern. Multi seasons permits dont affect special permits. Special permits are weapon specific and date specific

Okay so that means he could hunt multi archery in our area or muzzle during our elk season but only modern in the toutle. Thanks we were confused.

Don't forget, he can only harvest 1 elk, so if he harvests one before his toutle tag he is done for the season.

Congratulations! Multi season allows you to hunt in any unit legally open during that specific weapons season, regardless of east or west side. You can hunt archery, muzzy and modern but are only allowed one animal. Pulling the Toutle modern tag means you can hunt durning that seasons time frame and allows you the privilege to hunt where others can't, hence the term "special permit".

Also, durning the modern season, you can use any legal weapon lesser than a modern firearm. So if you wanted to use archery or muzzle equipment durning modern, you would still be legal. You could also scope your muzzleloader.

Hope this helps. Toutle is a fun hunt with lots of ground, good luck.

you gotta live it.

Didn't we already go over this in your other post. If you don't believe input I would suggest contacting wdfw about legal, illegal questions. It's very clear in the regs what the multiseason permit affords you.
