I was surprised no one I saw was floating powerbait off the bottom like a put and take trout lake.http://salmonuniversity.com/archives/6864Given that brown powerbait probably looks like their food pellet seems like it should match the hatch.I've heard of people using powerbait successfully, I tried catfish pellets under a bobber, but they just swam by it.

We are going to do some more seining targeting these fish on this Friday at 4 at Watmough Bight, anyone is welcome to come. Of course there are no guarantees we will catch enough to share.
Looks like a couple good schools of Atlantics have escaped the tribal nets and found their way into area 8-1 and part of 8-2. Too bad we (the rec.fishers) can't fish for them.
It looks like the nets have done a good job of cleaning out the bay by the pens. They've even got a net on Decatur now. Look to the shallow bays for jumpers if you still want to find some.
They are being caught in the skykomish.
Didn't see any signs near Sultan on Tuesday.
