I'm committed to using either my 338/375 Ruger Striker or the 480 Ruger to hunt with this year. Fortunately I have plenty of meat in the freezer left over from last year. :chuckle:

260gr Hammer Hunters at 2730 fps from the 338 mean that anything inside of any reasonable rifle range (and some not so reasonable ranges) will hit the ground. The 480 is good for everything inside of 75 yards.

May try old school this year for bear and elk with a neat Savage 99-358 Winchester I recently scored from the Cabelas gun library. Just depends on how it shoots.

I'm toting a 6.8 spc ii with an 18" triad barrel from ARP.

Has only taken deer so far but this year that will change.
