Many years ago the state issued doe tags for deer and cow tags for elk. Everything now is based on headgear, or lack thereof.
Nature. It's cheaper than therapy.

If the genes of these doe-bucks where to multiply we could have a lot more deer to harvest.

Here's mine from 2 years ago, all girl.......except the head gear. Bio says odds are 1 in every 30,000 deer.
Sure surprised me when I rolled it over.  :yike:

I saw one of these on meateater once!
Crazy!

Here's a question,
In a 3pt or better unit would a deer like this be legal?

I mean technically it's a 3 point and it doesn't say 3pt or better buck, right?
I mean how would anyone be able to tell before shooting it. Cant really check the equipment under the hood while hunting.
Gender is never a factor for legal deer.
What about when it is "any buck"
Seems gender specific for legality to me
3 Pt. Minimum:
A legal deer taken in these GMUs must have
at least 3 antler points on one side. A 3x3, 3x2,
or 3x1 are legal in a 3 pt. min. unit. An antler
point must be at least one inch to be counted.
Antlerless:
Deer without antlers. Doe or fawn deer are
antlerless.
Any Buck:
Any deer with visible antlers may be taken
(fawns illegal)

straight from the book

It's legal to shoot, but I'm curious about transporting the meat. How can you leave a testicle attached...

If a game warden had serious questions than I am quite sure they would call a wildlife biologist to identify it.

I shot a buck without any nuts.  When I got to the part to skin a nut out and leave it attached to the meat, there was nothing there!    I just took a picture of it with the rack in the pic.  I figured I would just show them the pic.  I was never checked.
