Caught this Bull on Cam in an Area where no elk are usually at in Chelan

I spend a lot of time up there and have long wondered why there isn’t at least a little pocket of them up there more consistently? Nice bull too!

Seeing big game populations spread out into areas where they aren't/haven't been in awhile (a la the moose moving west into the N Cascades) always warms my heart.

About 10 years ago, the NPS was complaining about elk damage in the historic Buckner orchard in Stehekin. 
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
