Idaho any advice.

Well our camp has about had it with WA. Looking towards Idaho.
No idea. Never hunted there but looking for a change.

Anyone want to offer any advice?

We like to remote camp, drive to.
Prefer National forest or state lands.
Mule deer and maybe whitetail.

Can anyone buy a regular tag.?
Areas to start.
Planning a week long scouting trip. For possible hunt there next year.

Any information at all would help.

Not much state owned land in Idaho. Mostly fed.
 Plenty of it though. Lots of national forest and BLM land.

If you want whitetail, you'll have to stay north for the most part. Starting roughly in Grangeville, going north/east from there. Not a hard rule, but the northern half of the state has most of the WT.

Non-resident tags and licenses are OTC for the most part, but there is a quota. And residents can purchase them as second tags (at non-res prices) so they have been selling out.
 Don't forget to get your wolf tag(s).

 You can save a lot of time and money by hunting Idaho. I'm a blacktail hunter at heart but I love me some whitetail too! Hunting out of state is a must for serious Washington hunters. PM me if you'd like ideas for Idaho. Idaho is also ridiculously cheap for youth if that has any bearing.
