Youth hunt - great idea!

As a backup, I have a friend looking to do his first archery turkey hunt. I'd be happy to drive him over and sit with him but kids first!

You could also enlist some people for the fall/winter season (next year) and try to put some fear in them before they decide your place is a good spot to spend the winter.

Check with Wildlife, girl friends parent ranch has the same problem. Family members have no limit and non family must buy tags. Limit two. Our SSS

You must not ever had a turkey problem,they poop everywhere,step in it ,every time you go out,then drag it back in your house not good.I have turkey in my yard every winter , but I live in town so no hunting sucks.

That would be a good thing for youth hunters. My son went out last year first time and I got some rude people when asked for some permission for him only. We never did shoot a single shot last year. This year I’m gonna try and get his sister in on the mentoring program. Maybe with 2 kids I might be able to get it done. Gotta love the wild pets some people get.. glad to see you are different.

Since this America  and capitalism rules I’d charge an access fee. Forget haveing inexperienced hunters shooting close to your house  it s an unnessary liability. 50 bucks a bird seems about right.

As someone who’s only hunted for Turkey once and is currently looking for opportunities for spring, this sounds awesome. I know m, maybe not a “real hunt” but a great opportunity to bag one bird, and practice skinning/gutting.
