Older tight spot for a good deal vs buying a new one?

Found a deal on an older tight spot that has the foam instead of the rubber in the hood. Do the new ones have any updated features that are worth buying a new one over a cheaper price on a older used one?

I have the new style in a 7 arrow. I wish it had foam, and the extra two arrow spot don’t get used because the arrows slap a plastic piece and make noise on the shot. I would buy the used one personally if it was a good deal

I bought a used one off the classifieds here and don't regret it at all. Works great!

Ended up missing out on the deal. Going to buy a new one. I'm going with the 7 arrow just because I found it for cheaper than the 5. It's only 0.1 oz heavier.
