It's hard to find opinions and reviews on that one. Why are owners so tight lipped?

Bought one for my kid last fall, he was 12.  Ruger. Great little gun, out of the box accurate. Comfortable recoil. Lightweight to carry. I took it to Idaho deer hunting, one shot one kill. I did a little write up on the gun last Oct time frame. If you dig back it's there.

low recoil, fantastic ballistics and range will depend on the rifle, scope and shooter combination.  I love mine and my son shoots it all the time.  He is 8.

The wife shoots one . Lady Savage 6.5 Creedmoor, has had many other rifles but this is her favorite. Light recoil and designed for women. She has won some  shoots, 200 and 400 yds. One shot kills deer and bear.

I think it's just a great all-around caliber, good for young shooters, but also very capable for anyone. I know a lot of adults who have used the 6.5 Creedmoor on deer, bear and antelope.
Disappointments are inevitable, misery is optional.

243 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm08 Rem.  All excellent choices for low recoil.

Helped my buddy set up his 6.5 Kimber a few weeks ago.
1/2 inch groups. Not that I believe in one short action cartridge being inherently more accurate than another.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

I have had the chance to shoot a few.  Very pleasant and impressive ballistics.  I've heard over and over by people that know their.......stuff......yeah we joke about man buns and all but there is no doubt it is a dandy cartridge and it flat shoots.

The 6.5 Creed is right in middle of the 7mm-08 Remington and the 243 Winchester. Same case, with a bullet 2 hundredths of an inch smaller in diameter than the 7mm-08, and 2 hundredths of an inch bigger in diameter than the 243 Winchester.
