Are We the Last State to Complete Special Draws?
« on: May 31, 2018, 10:09:42 AM »
Are we?      I realize that we have to deal with the shorter time to scout, plan, and prepare...   BUT it would be nice if we knew our results a month or two sooner.

I get my Illinois results in August for firearm season. But they have 3 separate drawings for firearm. Archery is the same time frame.

No.

Idaho, Oregon, and Wyoming results are out about the same time as ours, or later. Those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Pennsylvania elk draw DEADLINE isn't until end of July.  The drawing is sometime in August.

I'm glad Washington is close to last, that way I know whether I want to draw here or just get points if I have better options elsewhere.
I know I've lost it, let me know if you come across it

As much as WDFW drive me crazy and as much as I am not a fan of lots that they do, people need to chill out on the draw results thing.  Washington is literally one of the fastest states for pumping out results.  Most other western states are 6 weeks to 2 months turn around.  Washington does it in less than a month normally.  Heck Idaho's app deadline isn't even until next week and they have seasons that start in August.  Just my  :twocents:
