Travel Trailer batteries

So after 3 years of owning  our trailer I think the batteries are shot. When we left Friday morning The trailer battery moniter said full charge , when we woke up Saturday they were dead .    The current batteries are a Napa brand Duel purpose battery ( that were included in the purchase ). What should I replace them with ?
 Is 3 years the normal life span of trailer batteries ?

Deep cell batteries shouldn't die on you in 3 years. Maybe your charging system from your truck to your trailer isn't doing what it's supposed too do.

They are cheap wet cell batteries from Napa , not deep cycle.

I put four 6v golf cart batteries from Costco in mine and would never do 12v again, I can camp without hookups for over a week with little discharge, very happy

Yep, 6v golf cart batteries from costco for me too. I still take a gen set to top em up as we go, but I can last twice as long as the 12v. I wouldn't go back to 12v again.

I've been reading more and more about people switching over to 6v golf cart batteries . Are they considerably larger size wise compared to a 12v rv battery ?

Not really, mine fit in the factory battery location.

Yup, 2 6 volt golf cart batteries wired together in mine, long life! Look it up on you tube, easy to do.

What model are you using ? I've been looking at the Trojan's.

I deal with a lot of them at work but  t125 or t145 are great options
