Well I feel very blessed to be one of the lucky ones this year. It has been 10+ years since I have been able to chase branch bulls instead of spikes/cows. Every year I have had interactions with bulls but couldnt do anything about it. That will change this year!
Not looking for the biggest baddest bull, just an average to decent one (Already got a 7x8 shoulder mount) so if I am fortunate enough this year, it will be a euro.

My knees are not what they used to be, so it will have to happen away from steep and deep (I could still get there, but getting 1 out is a new story,  )

Now if I could only decide on where to concentrate my efforts.......328 central, more towards the burned areas, or 329?  Decisions, decisions.
What say you?  And Yes, I know all of both units very well.

That early I may lean towards 328 central.  Lots of good places to glass out across the burns.  If you cant find them up high, head into 329, by the bar

I would lean towards 329. I like spot and stalk and I tend to think that spot and stalk is the best way to kill a really big bull. 328 will hold more elk for sure, but 329 will always have some monster bulls in there.

If it were my tag I would hunt in 328. There’s big bulls in both but I like the florafonda of the naneum. I’m jealous as hell. I know you’ll do the tag justice. And if you need a packer I’m close.
