Always a zoo during archery...….I miss the old days up there before archery got popular.  :(

I refuse to step foot in there since they opened it for otc cow. The stuff you see people doing is astounding. Before they opened to otc, we would see one other rig the whole time where we hunted and that was back at the road. Since then, zoo

So it's only the quads that run the roads? What about the trucks/jeeps, etc?   I Have only seen a handful of quads and several hundred trucks trolling. I Hate it when folks trash on quads, they are much easier on fuel and ride quality than a truck to get from point A to point B.

I have been up there for over a week now (quality permit) boot then post up hunting, chasing 2 bulls in two different areas, and have seen 2 other mashers, both on the road, and both while traveling to, or coming from my areas.  Use the trollers to your advantage ;)

I was out on opening weekend for spike with two of my boys and didn’t see another hunter the first day and we were on elk all day long. Boys had a blast and we had cows within 30 yards all day.  Everyone else I spoke to said the elk ran towards the reserve...what ever. I’ll be back for the last 4 days and maybe some of the weekend worries will be gone or not. Everyone can stay on the road and do there thing so I can get in and down a cow and go home. Only spike we saw was with a small bachelor heard on opening day.
