why would you even go up there in modern? Took my boy up there once for modern and I would let him get out of the truck to go pee. Hunt the seasons with the least amount of people. Most of them go home by Monday or Tuesday anyways. I live here as well and just don’t step foot in the hills during modern or archery. :twocents:

You realize most of the people you’re insulting probably live closer to you than they do the actual coast, right?

Went up coleman this weekend and stopped right as the gravel started to let some air out of the tires.  This picture is taken from the start of the gravel at coleman road - ~20 feet from the paved road.  Looks like some archery jerks decided they needed to stop get out drink a beer before heading down the highway and throw away a elk head and feet.  I found it very disrespectful.

Are you saying it’s a poacher? I hunt archery sometimes too just not this season. Certainly don’t do crap like this.  Of course I don’t have proof but I’d like to believe it wasn’t just straight up poacher.  What exactly are you saying?

Maybe a master hunter or depredation tag holder. Cows are dying all over around this valley by more than just archery hunters.

I said some archery guy not all. Could have been other tag holders also. I understand I have no proof it was an archery guy, but after all the people in and out of there? Ok yeah - I’m wrong. It’s fine I don’t need to be right, just ten posts I know nothing. Cya.
