Plenty of public land, both state and National Forest. About the closest area you could go for mule deer. Used to be good hunting, not so much anymore. Success rate of 9% last year. Nice scenery and nice trails. Bring your bear tag. And be sure to have a Discover pass.

If you like there’s lots of public land by moses lake that i hunt i just got my buck yesterday i could point you to a couple of spots with legal deer

i would have to give a big thanks to onX hunt. was able to find some new area i wouldn't have know as public with out it. yes she hammered a beautiful 4x4 for her first deer on that public land. trust me in some areas it a must to own.
