Non typical dead head
« on: November 05, 2018, 06:13:12 PM »
Been hunting a spot in Mt off and on for the last 10 years or so and have never seen a buck with even the slightest hint of a cheater - mostly typical 4 points with larger than average eye guards.  We’ve shot a half dozen or so heavy old bucks with a lot of mass and same story nice 4 point with long eye guards.  I was beginning to think the area didn’t have the dna to produce a non-typical until we found this.  I guess I’ll keep searching...

Really cool.  Looks like a great restoration project!  That may be really old and that gene weak in the herd.
