Painted skulls
« on: December 04, 2018, 08:04:13 PM »
Have been experimenting with spray painting euros, I think they look pretty cool.
So far I have really liked the grey one, until I did this years buck in flat black, my new favorite now.

Nice! I have painted a few of mine, just bone white as kind of a redneck euro. Let the bugs outside clean it, or boil it. Then once its fully dry I paint them instead of messing with trying to bleach it. Then did a high gloss on one in a non-yellowing clear coat. That turned out pretty slick. But my favorite so far is an elk that I left alone instead of painting. Cleaned by nature mostly so its kinda dirty but just with a little dirt and such. Then did a flat clear coat. Looks real cool, rustic looking, like an old skull you would find laying around or hanging on a barn or something.
I have always wanted to try painting one though blaze orange and black tiger type stripe.

i believe it was one of the rustolium matalic paints, I wanted a dark bronze look and it really turned out nice I just can't remember what the color was called.
