Wife loves hers, she does run the thermocell insoles in colder weather. They give her plenty of support in steep terrain.

Jbar, thanks for the feedback. Xforce, I bought her a pair and will try and remember to report back. She will have some miles in them by the end of January.

Well I said I'd check back in on this and am doing just that. The wife put some miles on them albeit not as many as we'd hoped. She did wear them around town a bit just for a little break in before lacing them up for the hills. Break in was pretty minimal for her and she absolutely loves them! Everyone's feet are different of course but these were a home run for hers. Nice dry feet and no blisters or soreness.
