Creedmoor *
A remarkable experience is one where the pain is forgotten so quickly, the frustrations and struggles are forgotten the minute you’re done.

I can’t wait to do it the next time.

Love it!  Would love to see people contribute their stereotypes as memes, you know, Glocks, Chevys, .50BMG, archers, flyfishermen - oh wait, those last two are people  :chuckle:
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

We should support the creedmoore in whatever kind of cartridge it wishes to identify as...  deer cartridge, elk cartridge, mouse cartridge or elephant cartridge.

But really...
Seems like it is all I hear about anymore.
Is it just a fad?
I know very little about it, but it seems an awful lot like a .270 with a funny name.
Kind of like 7.62 or a .308?

Not as good as a 270, unless maybe you're a kid. (less recoil)

Yes, close to 308, just smaller caliber bullet.

What chu talkin ‘bout Willis!?

It’s almost just like a 270.. I mean .264 is much closer to .277 than .308.

Well Creedmoor will take the edge when it comes to wind drift. Will most people notice at hunting ranges? Probably not. Some of us also prefer short action rifles.

But the real driver in popularity is the AR10 factor, especially at longer ranges. I realize it is used a lot in bolt actions now but it took off as an AR cartridge.
