Well, I think that I am as ready as I can be. I took the advice from a lot of you and pounded the rules of the road section, I have been getting about 1/50 questions wrong on the practice tests. My test got rescheduled to Tuesday the 19th and I have everything else taken care of for the Coast Guard application.

All said and done, I bet I have 200 hours into the online course plus studying.

I got mine over 25 years ago but can't think of anything helpful.  Just go with your gut, I'm sure you know everything you need.  Good luck!!

Well everybody, it is all over! I took my test yesterday and it took me an hour and thirty five minutes to complete the Navigation, Rules of the Road, Deck General, General Navigation Rules, and the Masters 100 ton upgrade. I whipped through the test, I studied way harder than I probably had to but either way I passed and the effort was worth it.

My package will be turned in to the Coast Guard today. Hopefully I will have my license in hand by May 1 and be ready to go for halibut.

Nice work!
