Brooks range float
« on: March 11, 2019, 05:20:01 AM »
Anyone ever done or wanted to do a raft float in one of the Brooks Range rivers?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

Hunting or just the float? I did a non-hunting 10 day trip with an outfit called Arctic Wild about 10 years ago on the Hula Hula. Beautiful place. It was June and we had everything but darkness, including 2 feet of snow and 65 degree weather. Saw polar bear tracks at the coast but no bears.
There is not enough wilderness left in the world, or in the hearts of men.

I am interested in a float, fishing and hiking trip. The Brooks Range is a place that every outdoor person should experience.
