Yes.  There was a spot for it, but it was empty

Also did not have RWS musket caps.

Yes, they had them  In the newer 200ct package

I might be wrong!  I can order both, online, for pickup today.

Also noticed that the package has changed for the RWS caps.

So, maybe just the shelf stock was gone for the powder, and I didn't see red labels at the cap shelf, so assumed they did not have them.

I've had it since 1997.  Shoots VERY nice.  I did change it from 54 to 50 after I pooched the barrel with a double charge :bash:

Bought a barrel from one of the guys that builds them into smokeless ML's.

Right now trying to clearance the trigger area for a Timney (trigger pins ride the ADL trigger guard, and the safety binds))

The Federal Way Sportsmans has been pretty good about keeping BH209 in stock.  That's where I've bought every time.

BH209 does burn cleaner.  I still clean after every session, as I never let any kind of black powder (or substitute) sit in my barrel.  I always have a pile of Federal 209a primers on hand for my shotgun reloading.  They work well with the BH209 specific breech plug in my Accura V2.

How many rounds do you send downrange in a range session if you don't mind me asking?

Depends on the session.  If I'm just checking zero real quick before heading somewhere, then just 3 shots.  If it's an actual range session for practice, I'll typically do 5 shots at 50 yards, 5 at 100, 5 at 130 and 5 at 150 with my peep setup.  Some sessions I just send 10-20 shots at the 130 yard target and call it good.  So it's not extended shooting sessions compared to what somebody else might shoot 100 or so rounds. I'm usually shooting other guns at the session as well.  Initially I'd run a dry patch down with the range rod after 5 shots.  Then I changed it to after 10 shots.   Now that I'm used to BH209, I don't bother and just clean it after.

I did an online order for pickup at Fed Way Sportsmans. Got e-mail an hour later that it was ready for pickup. :)

I shot the converted Remington 700ML yesterday with T7.  Shot well!

Will try with BH209 next week.

I bought a used Optima last year for $100...swapped to a BH209 plug and correct firing pin. Loaded up 100gr of BH with 290gr Barnes TEZ and first two shots were touching at 50, ran it out to 100 and hit right where I wanted. I put it away and then a week later, went out and double lunged a bull.

What was wrong with the firing pin in your Optima.
