I'll admit I've been a long time lurker. Mostly because I haven't had much to add, but I'll try my hand and doing a little write up about this hunt after it reaches its conclusion.
It may not be rocket surgery, but it can make it difficult to hunt when the sh@$ hawks are all over you and your hunting partner can’t shut up about how silly his wife’s mating name was.
Rocket surgery?
Go over during the regular season and scout it out there is plenty of public land in that unit. I had never hunted the Entiat unit and drew that tag in 2016. Spent a few days towards the end of the regular season and found a couple large groups of Does. Went back the first week of November when the tag was good and shot a nice four point about a 1/4 mile from where I found the Does a few weeks earlier. It's not rocket surgery, it's Mule Deer in the rut.Best of luck, post pictures and a story!
