Definitely no way people should be complaining this year if the regulations are a little late. Most of the WDFW employees are probably not being allowed to work in the office. So it's totally understandable if things take a little longer than normal. I'm sure most people understand that.

Man only a 10 day season for Blacktail. That’s the shortest season I’ve seen ever.  Closing on the 27th?  Growing up we always hoped to shoot bucks on Halloween so we could  leave the bloody heads on the front porch for trick or treaters.  The couple times it worked out we got nothing but compliments. May not be the same reaction these days. Hopefully my niece and nephew that live over on that side of the mountain can get it done. At least they still have the four days of late buck too

Still the 17th - 27th is 11 days, not 10

Blacktail season going to November 1st, now that's a first! In my memory anyway. It's always ended on October 31st. The season was set back in early 2018....

The important thing is that youre hunting bkacktail rather than whitetail.  You have my full support and or sympathy.   :chuckle:

If you look at the presentation from the April 10 Commission meeting, they didn't recommend any changes to the proposed deer seasons.

In not trying to get the pitch fork thrown at me but I've been after them for years to make whitetail/blacktail the same.
But I'm sure it's just a misprint.

Well i grew up hunting them but now I’m hunting mule deer. My niece and nephew live on the wet side and usually at least one if not both will get one.  and my boy has filled a couple late season blacktail tags on my Dads farm. But much to your dismay he has also filled a late season whitetail tag too.

Why would you want to make them the same? I’m curious to your reasoning.
