The pup
« on: March 15, 2020, 03:40:32 PM »
Well about 4 months ago now my girlfriend picked up a new pup. She is now almost 6 months old. (Golden retriever) We train almost every day and she seems to love it. The other day in Wenatchee down in the park some photographers asked if they could take some pics! I have now gotten them! I wanted to share them. Also adding some pics of her as a younger puppy. Little cutie right here. Her name is summit!

What a great looking and happy pup!  Good on you for spending the time to teach it what it was intended to do. Hopefully you get to hunt her

Good girl Summit!  She is beautiful.  Congrats.  I am also a golden retriever for life guy.  Hunted over them as a kid with my Dad.  He always had one.  When I moved away didn't have a pup for quit some time due military duties.  Man do I love having a golden again.  Enjoy the journey with her!

Here’s a summit update. She’s been on about 8 hunts now. She’s retrieving great. A little rowdy in the morning when we show up but not much to complain about. She loves getting to work and retrieving birds.

Doing what a dog loves to do!! Good job getting her out there.

I wanted the dog to get one more retrieve. I feel bad for her because her owner is a lousy duck hunter lol. I gave it to my hunting buddy and they fried it. They said it wasn’t bad i was surprised. I personally have never eaten one and don’t plan on doing so.
