A Nephalim? No one is alive now that could know that.

Also, why are you talking like character from Red Dead Redemption 2?

The last 100 times that people were worried that "they" were going to come for your guns.... They never came for your guns. No one with any ability to do so has ever come for your guns.

Its a scare tactic to get you to donate a little more to the NRA.

In reality, as long as you are fixated on your guns, you don't notice that all the wealth, power and opportunity is being concentrated into the chubby hands of the rich, piece by piece. And most of you are cheering it on because its being done by the party that promises that they won't come for your guns.

You wouldn't know "reality" if it came over and leaked down your leg.. Trump was voted in to stop leftists and globalist. He is making Americans who work hard rich.  Look at the letter behind every legislator in Washington who has introduced more gun laws. It's a D for democrat. Join the real world Mags. You're so easily brainwashed..
If I need a permit and education to buy a firearm than women should need a permit and education  before getting an abortion.

Voting for Democrats is prima facie evidence you are a skirt wearing, low T, beta male. Do better.

Anytime I see stuff like this I wonder who the "they" are. Last time I checked our LE and military are all volunteer and free Americans who were born and raised as free men and women no different then you or I. Anyone who thinks there will be a German SS type sweep of our cities hasn't spent much time around America's fighting force :twocents:
Nearly every military town I can remember had lots of gun stores and strip clubs (except New England).  And the servicemen were usually upset if the area had crummy gun laws.  Quite a few guys were requesting to come to Washington or Florida or Texas over places like California or Hawaii so they could own nearly whatever and have a concealed permit.  I just don't see the military participating in something like that, if anything it would be the reverse.

How many Vindmans are there?  How many just looking to keep doing as they're told waiting out a promotion?

https://xavierthoughts.blogspot.com/2006/08/national-guard-among-looters-after.html

Let's not be completely naive here and think that all LE or military are all solid 2A supporters who would turn down a confiscation order.

For sure, but I think there's enough that it keeps the thought of confiscation a little bit distant (for military).  LE I think might be a little less, especially in the commie states.
We used to say, "there's always at least one" in every command when it came to someone that was a little left of center.

Humans, acting like humans, in a crisis.  People are pretending  stuff like that can't happen.

LE also enforced a confiscation order in NO. Backed by NG, some whom were busy looting.

Not quite. Red Dead Redemption 2 sold 23 million copies (at $60 a pop). Old west mythology is as popular as ever. From that game alone, Schofield revolvers have jumped in price dramatically.

Still, that guy WAS talking like a Chucky Cheese Cowboy robot

Hence the Vitter amendment.

People may do naughty things... doesn’t make them legal.

Cold comfort.  NO already signed an order prohibiting transport, which suspends legal carry.  Fine. It's not confiscation, right?

On July 12, 2006 Senator Vitter proposed Senate Amendment 4615 (the Vitter Amendment) to Department Of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2007 (H.R. 5441), to prohibit the confiscation of a firearm during an emergency or major disaster if the possession of such firearm is not prohibited under Federal or State law.[3] The proposed amendment was subsequently modified to contain the provisions of the Disaster Recovery Personal Protection Act of 2006. However, the temporary surrender of a firearm could be required "as a condition for entry into any mode of transportation used for rescue or evacuation".

Notice that last part.

Imagine as part of a community welfare sweep people are checked or tested for virus. You test positive. You could be forced to surrender under the Vitter amendment, "as a condition for entry into any mode of transportation used for rescue or evacuation."

And that doesn't even get to situations where suspension of rights is deemed necessary by a LE authority.

Of course, we are nowhere near that.  But let's not pretend that the Vitter Amendment or humans doing human stuff, who will only hold your 2A inviolate, will be some protection.
