Montana sheep, moose and goat anyone?
« on: May 11, 2020, 11:46:33 PM »
I drew a Montana moose tag.
Couldn't believe it. Had to check three times.
Anyone else get lucky with sheep, moose, goat?

I'm not much for writing about my hunts.
Feels like I'm bragging.
Does make sense because I like to read others stories, does seem like they are bragging.
Guess I'm modest.
I'll think about, see how the hunt goes. I might.

HillHound.
Good luck in the Idaho draw.
Just have to get lucky. Really thought it would happen to me.
I have applied in six state for moose for two decades.
What did you apply for?

As expected, no sheep tag for me.  Maybe I will get lucky and Utah or Idaho will be nicer.

It's exciting waiting for a sheep draw knowing you'll probably get struck by lightning 1st but there is hope. I got another point but super tags are cheap.
I have Man Chit to do

Seems to be allot of good information available about the unit.
Allot of good people willing to talk to me.
Thanks.
I will try to take pictures and post a story.
I'm not real good with the pictures I get very focused on the hunt.
But need to record for history.

You'll be glad to have pictures and video to look back on. Especially on a hunt like this.

As someone who has drawn a moose tag I would highly suggest taking lots of pictures. When everything is said and done all you will have left of the hunt are memories. It's not like you will have another moose hunt next year. Photos really help remembering details. I was just looking at mine yesterday.
