Frozen Whisker Bizcutt

lol   Anyone ever experience a Whisker Biscuit ever freezing up on them in really cold ass weather?   If so I wonder if a guy could spray something on it?   It was never a problem on Washington's wet side.  But Now I've been In Idaho for the last 5 years and picking up Archery again...  The whisky Bisky is just flat money.  Arrow an't gonna fall over or out.  Not a fan of anything attached to a string to operate.

I have had it in pretty much all things imaginable except a hard core freezing rain, never ever had a problem.

I've never had an issue with freezing but I do hate how loud the thing is.

Get a limb driven drop away then

get a code red drop away. i was always told 'why would you want anything touching your arrow after you hit your release'?

 Try trimming the whiskers where the fletching hits, right down to where they are attached, only a couple rows for each. It works well for my kids bows, they are straight fletch though.

I had ice build up on them but I never shot at an animal in those situations. Even if I tried it probably would have heard the arrow scratching along the bristles and busted me lol. Drop away for the win. The arrows not going to fall out of a contained drop away either.

never had a problem with WB freezing up. As far a noise, it's not the WB it is your arrows. Just wax them, picked up that tip from calling the carbon express folks when I picked up some Maxiam arrows. There will be less noise on any rest. Been shooting WB for years there is really nothing that can go wrong with them, nothing to worry about.

Well it’s the arrows scratching across the bristles or the bristles scratching the arrow.. Either way. It makes noise specially when iced up. Wax is a cool trick.
