So I bought a Wyoming deer point this year. Just finished watching Eastmans backcountry mule deer hunts in Wyoming. He says he get that tag almost every year?
So my question is; are there units that you could draw archery at least every other year in Wyoming? And at least see quality bucks.

I believe they live in WY, so the draw odds are completely different than for NR. Check out GoHunt, you can get all the odds and search by anything you want.

Residents can hunt any general region every year. Limited quota & all Antelope they must draw

Down here picking up our kid. She was working as a wrangler for an outfitter this summer. Thought we’d poke around a little up the greys river and hoback to see what’s shaking.

Sweet! It’s one of the coolest places I’ve hunted & visited. Heading down on the 11th to join my resident buddy on a G hunt. Hoping for a great hunt & opportunity for a good one!

A little update from my Wyoming trip. After 6 hard days in the mountains trying to turn up a target buck we decided it was time to drop the hammer on this guy. Hoped to see a super buck but I’m super happy to harvest a 170 buck in a year that winter kill showed up hard in deer numbers. Those looking to draw the next couple years may want to keep that in mind. A couple mild winters will help it bounce back so cross your fingers. Super fun but that place beats you down after a few days!

Hey anytime you get to spend a week in God’s country and yank a solid buck out of the mountains is all good. Congratulations.
