Sapphire Bow
«

I just want to say thank you to Boneaddict and to Hornseeker. Boneaddict for pointing me towards the Sapphire Hawk Longbows. The photos of my bow were outstanding, but don't even come close to how beautiful this bow is in person or the craftsmanship. It is a work of art. Thank you Ernie, you have rekindled a fire that has not been burning quite so bright the last few years. I look forward to getting deadly with this bow and cannot wait to harvest a bear, elk or deer with it...or all three. Thanks guys!!

It really is, the wifes not happy, you know sleeping on the couch so the bow didn't leave my side, but she'll get over it.
Took it to work today and a few guys were ogling over it.

Here you go. The limbs are black glass on the "back" brown glass on the "belly" and have action boo, walnut and maple in them....
The riser is bocote sandwiched between leopardwood...

Funny thing about a Trad bow...... Its often a helluva alot cheaper than a compound with all of its extra gadgets, and its also a work of art, at least I think these are.

I look forward to the success pics too!!
Doug... heck...I was looking at the new Mathews and Hoyt... I think they were like $890...and thats JUSt the bow. The quiver was $120, sight was 100, the rest was 110... case 100, release 85$... Booom.
However, you can pay $1500 for a "popular" brand of trad bow... but you can get one just as good for $550... then $60 on arrows and $75 on a quiver and you are down the road!!!

Oh the pressure!!
Shoot, I just ordered another Hawk with extra limbs and an extra string, some exotic veneer, and some carbon and it still should only be right at a $1000.....I think?
This bow is so freaking smooth and fast...and soooo whisper quiet. I'm going to try and nail a turkey over in ID the next few weeks. We'll see!!
