just looked at the wild system,my multi season elk does not say not selected anymore.Instead it now says submitted.

Mine says the same thing, submitted.  I checked every back door I can think of, no hints at all.
I don't think we can talk about that stuff on this website... :chuckle:

Mine shows submitted with 11 points as I have never drawn a MS elk permit.

It states right on their site to call the number to surrender tag and you can purchase online, over phone or at vendor. I call yesterday and she says you have to go to a vendor . I asked what was the point of that email ? She didn’t know. Good job wdfw making this way harder than it should be, this should be like any other permit. Carry it on your person along with your valid 2020 tag.
