Usually when DNR closes their lands the WDFW does the same. I bet we'll be seeing an announcement soon.

Okay, then just the NFS land! Ha.  I wont be greedy, just open it up at least for 7 days at some point for us!

Lots of camps already set up that they’re going to be having to run people out of. I don’t wanna be the guy who’s going to chase the old boy out that’s got His wall tent  set up and was planning on being there for the next couple weeks

Try sending Tracker0721 a Pm as he lives in Malo and may have some info
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Well my dad and i are 2 of the bull tag holders for Archery in the colockum. We are in the group with camp set as we were up for the weekend and came out Monday to resupply and was heading back in tomorrow.  Well obviously that plan had changed and we are in a small scramble mode to be honest. Let's hope they open it.

~  ~One of my favorite clothing patterns is camouflage. Because when you're in the woods it makes you blend in. But when you're not it does just the opposite. It's like "hey, there's an *censored*."”

Be come one with Nature......... Then Marinade it.

One moment you're flying south for the winter, then - BANG - gravy.

Think we have 40% of the tags accounted for now. You have 2, we have 2, someone else posted the standard help post, and I believe 1 other person too.

The federal land still has great areas to chase elk. Our camp and plans A to E are closed, and we hope to be able to hunt them at some point, but we focused on F to J in the federal lands since we've never hunted there so have some spots to look at.

Feel free to PM to exchange  notes or sync up. If you we only scouted, don't have any great knowledge of the areas, but that adds an element of fun for me.

If all the general crowd, 75 cow hunters and all 12 bull hunters show up on federal, the pressure will make it challenging to say the least... Bring it on!

Oh for sure we are ready. We've hunted the NF side before and did a luttle scouting that way also this year. It was our intent to hunt that way for a couple days possibly if we weren't seeing what we wanted.  Been ripping apart onx finding even more spots that way now.  Good luck to you guys.
