Wow, great shooting and composure! That would give me the shakes something crazy! Be cool to find out the ear tag too. Like a banded bird....ok not really but really cool on a whole different level. Congrats!

The biologist got back to me yesterday. Pretty interesting, They had a collar on the mother of the cat I shot. They must have an idea of when they are having baby's by the collar movement or something because she gave me my cats  birth date and said they tagged him and 2 to other siblings 7 days after birth.

He was 2.5 years old and was tagged  roughly 30 miles north of where i got him.
