Withrow second deer tag.
« on: September 30, 2020, 01:39:43 PM »
Wife drew the Withrow second deer tag this year, anyone have any insight or know of a land owner willing to allow access to hunt?

I drew the tag a few years ago, know all about the Feel Free to hunt, Hunt by written permission,  and limited public land in the unit.
The property I was granted access to for my hunt is longer allowing other then family members to hunt the property  :bash: :bash: :bash:

 :hello:

Maybe it is because I'm an old fart but if I were putting in for a permit that if drawn would use up all my acquired points I'd of had a place to hunt before putting in for the permit.

That sucks. I drew doe tags over there (Roosevelt) and ended up not having luck on the piece of private I had access to. I ended up looking for the DNR sections and got deer both years that I was out there.

Not a huge deal, we have areas to hunt, was just checking to see if anyone on the forum had an inside or would allow her access to private property to take a doe, thats all.

Would be cool as gell to get access to one of the orchards below, and take a fruit filled fat doe......lol

My daughter shot a doe that was literally under an apple tree.  It was the best tasting deer I have ever had, the only thing was it was almost too mild of a taste for me but everyone loved it.
