I don’t know about that tag but I do live in Mason. It’s a relatively easy unit to hunt. Lots of access via green diamond as they open the gates for modern. You could look into a walk in pass for their permit access only area. Other wise there is more good hunting ground than you could shake a stick at. Great time to be out as you will be mostly by yourselves out there and the bucks should be cruising.
“Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.”

If you are not willing to die for freedom then take the word out of your vocabulary.

Ha. I haven't been around up there at all. Sounds like bucks are hitting the dirt around there though......

My kid has an any deer tag same time frame.
I hunt the unit often. I guess my intel will vary depending on my kids success. Plenty of state and Pope land to hunt.

All my hunting is done west of belfair so that's where my intel will come from.

If your kid shoots a monster what will you tell us? :chuckle:

Here's the thread her dad was looking for.  See if that helps a bit.
