Unit 568 - Access Question
« on: March 22, 2021, 08:42:53 AM »
Hey guys! First time posting here, glad to meet you all. I'm fairly new to washington and have been buzzing around different units scouting for archery season. Was just curious if anyone had any info on unit 568. I've hunted the oregon coast my whole life and am used to the wet steep and nasty so no issues there for me. Anyways, i'm looking on my OnX maps and it appears that in the center of the unit there is a lot of state forest mixed with ORM. Does anyone know if ORM is open to the public or if its permitted?

Thanks for any info! Good luck to you all

Was not even sure what ORM was without looking it up  :chuckle:  Guess I have not wandered around that part of the unit.
From a little googling I would say good chance it is open to hunting.  I would check with them directly to be sure but an older 2019 article sounded like it generally was their practice to allow outdoor recreation including hunting.

Good Luck

ORM still shows on my onX in 568?  How often is that updated?
