My Montana Muley
« on: November 10, 2007, 09:56:03 AM »
Just got back from Montana, Saw lots of deer but nothing huge. My buck counting eyeguards and a 3 inch kicker coming off his right base is a 6x6. Main frame 4x5, has forked G3's and no forks on back or front. He has some good character, hes 21 wide. We had to put a stalk on him as they were in a coulee, we glassed him at about 220 yards for a long time trying to see how many points he had then i decided to take him and we belley crawled to about 200 yards and i shot right over his back as he was bedded and he jumped up and quarted away from me and stopped then it was all over with.

Damn cool buck Kirkl.  Any other kills in your party, or was that the only tag.

Awesome buck Kirk.  I can't wait to get drawn for that.  I now have 4 points, you'd think something would happen.  My frined that lives there can't believe I haven't drawn yet.  Its not like this fair state.  He figures I've used all my luck elsewhere.   Congrats on a great buck.  Neat/unique antlers on him.
