Nice pics Brandon. That's not in the area where I ran into you deer hunting a few years back is it?
No it wasn't.
cool....did it drag it off? and was it cached up well when you got there?
The cat never moved it from where I found it. The elk was in a very in accessable spot, so he must have felt safe right where he was.
The thing is my camera that was set on video filled up with clips on the first day and wouldn't take still shots to store on the SD card. I didn't realize it wouldn't store video on the SD card or I wouldn't have set it that way, and it wouldn't take video at night. I thought it was weird that it would switch to still shots at night but not after the internal memory was full. Oh and all the video clips were of a Turkey vulcher enjoying fresh elk! The other camera just stopped taking pictures the day after I set them out. That stinks because I know I could have gotten allot more shots and different creatures if it would have continued working. I know there were some coyotes in the area as there was allot of scat and tracks. I found what I thought might be a set of bear tracks, but it rained hard yesterday so who knows. I think I will defiantly look into a homebrew or maybe even a higher end camera.

CHECK OUT THE CLAWS!!!
