Vail permit
« on: October 29, 2021, 09:07:44 PM »
I live in South Hill and like to spend time in Hancock. Looking for a more quality blacktail area. Does vail have a lot of gated off areas to get away from roads and stuff? What’s it like? Can PM if you’d like. Thanks for the help!

What I’ve heard from friends is that there is lots more deer, the problem is getting the permit.  Best have your stuff ready to go and the fastest internet connection possible, even then your chances are less than 50/50 of getting it.  But not first hand experience, so ymmv.

It sounds cool to check out. I’m trying to figure out how close the gate would be from South Hill off 176th.
