I don't know, after I shot him I couldn't find him so I guess I can't tell you  :chuckle: I do know ever one I shot cost me about $2.50, and thats reloading. 250 grain barnes triple shock X flat base with 100ish grains of reloader 19.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

I was wrong, more pics by request  ;) Look how light the back is on that hen, her breast was almost white. By the time I got the camera out she was on her way to another county, that was the only halfway decent pic I got of her. The deer are in the Aladin valley and the boats were part of the couple hundred that were on the Pend. River between the two dams up by Metaline. There was a fishing tournament going on, it was the only tournament I have ever seen where the banks were even lined with people fishing in it.  :chuckle:

Boy, I didn't think that bullet would open up on thin skinned game like that. :P  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

250 gr bullet probably weighed almost as much as the p.d. ...... :chuckle: :chuckle: :) That is awesome.

its going to have to be a big bear or one that is in just the perfect spot this year. For one I don't have any where to put one right now. Could've taken one this trip but I have never got a color phase bear so I will wait till the end of the month before I go for a 200 pound black one.

you had the scope on two bears already?  in 3 days of hunting?!!!??!?  i hate you.  i've had the scope on 1 bear in 3 YEARS of hunting.  i hate you so much...well hate is a strong word...more like extremely jealous.
