Bumping this one to keep it on the recent topics banner.

Got a reply from Nikki saying comments had been forwarded.

Keep the emails going in and make sure our voice is heard.
:yeah:
Not to cast doubt but there is a high likelihood that the petition does not create an action. Even if this is the case it's imperative to maintain the momentum created so on future issues there is an opportunity to be proactive vs reactive.

Just throwing this out there.  Is anyone involved with the Mule Deer Foundation or Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation enough to get these groups to support us?  There may be other conservation groups that I am not aware of.  But if they will support us by writing the WDFW it may help.  We doing it as individual is good but if we had organizations backing us it would be even better.  I belong to the RMEF but wouldn't know who to contact or probably could explain it well enough to get them to get involved.  The more voice the better.

I have some contacts with the local MDF. I'm assuming they're still involved, but it's been a few years. I'll report back with what they have to say.

We need to light a fire under their asses, remind them the online petition got over 5000 votes

To my knowledge there are 4 petitions that have been brought up for formal consideration by the commission. I know of at least 2 now on Jan 21st.

The other one was drafted by Inland Northwest Wildlife Council and co-signed by BHA, Wenatchee Sportsmen's Association, Inland Empire SCI, Hunters Heritage Council, WWC, Meateater and Blood Origins.

Hi dwils233,

Quick question:

In your post you mentioned one of the co-signers as 'WCW'

Who is that?...

My only knowledge of a 'WCW' is Wildlife Committee of Washington in Bothell. (aka Kenmore Gun Range aka wcwshootingsports)

Thank-you

Hi dwils233,

Thank you for your response.

WWC (W4WC) is a great organization.

They have done terrific work for hunters over many years.

To my knowledge, WCW, aka Wildlife Committee of Washington, aka Kenmore Range, aka wcwshootingsports, has not had an active Hunting or Conservation Committee for years.

Thank you for all you are doing to help on this issue.

I said over 5000   :chuckle:
"About 20,000" is way more impressive than "over 5,000". :chuckle:

I am still concerned that the anti's will know they are down a vote and will rally harder than sportsman.

I hope people don't get confident in the appearance of momentum.

Keep the emails going to the commission.
