Have one and love it.  Have used it on everything from steak to prime rib to pulled pork.  Works phenomenally.

Not wading through other replies...

I have a Meater that is about three years old. WHEN it works, it is great. The wireless bluetooth range is abysmal! I pretty much have to have my phone sitting within ten feet of it.

I've been meaning to look for something better....

Wth?  Have you programmed it to use wireless instead of bluetooth?  Maybe thats the trick?

I've also never had a problem with mine, I leave it in the traeger and still transmits to the other side of the house.

From what I’m understanding. The meater plus has the better tech and bugs worked out from the original.  :twocents: 🙏🙏🙏😉🥃🇺🇸

Pretty sure it is just bluetooth.  It has about the same range as my bluetooth headphones.

Just popped a whole chicken in the oven with the Meater in it.  I'm monitoring the temp from about 50 feet away - blue-tooth connection.  Looks like about an hour, 15 min until crispy brown and tasty.

 :)
