Multi-Season Elk Applications - is there an issue?
« on: January 04, 2022, 06:54:38 PM »
I have a buddy who is trying to put in for MS Elk.  He bought the tag but when he goes in to apply for the hunt, there is no option to apply.

Is anyone else seeing this?  Is there a new place on-line to submit the applications now?  None of the menu options put you in a place that you can submit the apps you bought.

I checked on the WDFW website and as you can see below, 2022 permits should be available (and I assume submit-able) from Dec 1 to March 31.

The weird thing is, when he goes to the special hunts hotlink, and the 2022 season is selected, his Elk MS tag is listed in a status of  "not submitted", but the Submission period shows as 12/01/20 to 4/12/21.  Which, obviously, is in the past.

So I am confused!

He will call the help line tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone has seen this when trying to submit an app for 2022.

Interesting.   I missed that thread-thanks.  Sounds like nobody knows what is happening.   If I find out I will post it

I don’t think the application period is open yet?

Could be, but according to the wdfw website it is (see screen snip above).

My buddy had emailed WDFW last night and got the following reply this AM

"To answer your question you cannot submit for Multi Season until around Feb. (official date tbd) I know the website says different and we are aware of it."

Aren't you automatically entered when you purchase the application?? Or has something changed?  :dunno:

Yes you are. Submitting an application is only needed for party applications or points only applications.
