Thanks for all the replies. I have considered the Hammer Hunter 285 grain and will likely give them a go. I have had great results with the HH out of my daughters 6.5 creed and should maintain enough speed pushing the 285 to make them reliable expand well beyond my hunting ranges. Absolutely loved how it performs. Bc is spot on for me and meat damage was almost none. Quarter size exit and inside was a mess. Blood shot was maybe 1/2 around the exit hole. Friend of mine is shooting those 275 sbd2’s in his edge and loves them but I haven’t seen how they preform on game yet. He says it’s his go to hunting bullet
