WDFW 2022 Proposals?
« on: March 23, 2022, 01:56:52 PM »
Anyone got the link to the 2022 hunting proposals (with permit #'s)...as I saw a blog at NWS that WDFW is proposing a slash in certain permits but an increase in cow permits (Yakima) this year. Just curious and would like to see the proposals before the final meeting in early April.

thanks in adavnce,

Grade

Some one posted a link in another thread showing the increase in permits but can’t remember where I saw it. I captured a screen shot of some of it though.

Irrelevant what they propose.  It's what the commissioners decide we get.

I know it's not exactly new, but 5 MF antlerless permits for each Winston, Coweeman, and Toutle; still just blows me away how fast that herd dropped and stayed dropped.

I'd rather see those cows get corralled off the feed lot and sent to the Blues rather than killed. Or far fewer cow tags and a few more bull tags? I'm no commissioner though.

That would be nice, but they would probably just end up being nutrients for the predators.
